Post: Food Operators Still Not Getting Safety Message

It’s disappointing to note that the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) had to serve another 11 Enforcement Orders on errant food businesses last month, bringing to 121 the number of such orders issued in 2013 to date. That’s more more than the total for all of 2012 (109).

It seems some Irish food operators are absolutely determined to flout our food-safety laws – of which pest control is a major component – thereby exposing customers and employees to harm, risking prosecution and fines, and being named & shamed in the press.

If you’re in the food business, you need to be fully aware of – and compliant with – Irish food-safety legislation. For a free consultation on current pest control-related laws and obligations for food operators, call Brendan or Jeff at CPC on (01) 200 5900, (0404) 62026 or LoCall 1890 906195. Taking this simple step today could save you a fortune tomorrow.
